Imagine an instance when schedules and rendezvous times are kept, all unfolds as you had hoped, and the emotions engendered exceed hopes. Such a confluence of wished-for outcomes seems a dream but perhaps it happens more than we realize, just simply in our everyday routines, roles, and responsibilities, when we expect it rather than hope for it. When such a seemingly magical moment occurs with events we have long anticipated, we are reminded how wonderful life can be, how sweet the everydays can taste and how awesome and special being alive indeed can feel. 

As the pandemic begins to slowly wind down, I am reminded of Henry David Thoreau's quote more and more frequently - "If one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams, and endeavors to live the life which he has imagined, [they] will meet with success unexpected in common hours." It is the success of everyday elevated moments that for me fit this descriptor: When we intentionally build a life we love living - the routines, the relationships, the sanctuary, the career, honoring our sleep, feeding our body well and regarding with care all of the elements to nourish our being, the extraordinary can be savored in the ordinary days of our lives each and every day. 

While I share glimpses of my life regularly in my home tours, my IG feed, video chats and for many years now on the blog and podcast, it has taken time to build everydays with simplicity but nourishing substance for growth from exploration paired with comfort to calm the mind and body regularly. Anything, I have found, which we long to keep in our lives for a great length takes time and intentional action to build. And by no means do we rest upon arrival. But what we can know is it is possible and be ever more motivated to maintain and nurture what is a priority in our lives.
