During the fall season, planting bulbs that will bloom in spring serves as a gift to ourselves as we have something to look forward to after winter's chill and challenge. In fact, in this week's Petit Plaisir, I shared my source for spring bulbs and purchased a few myself as I am adding tulips to my yard for next spring.
Similar to a bulb tucked safely under ground waiting for the temperatures to be gentle and nurturing enough, our lives as well will blossom and bloom after we have given it the care, knowledge and patience it needs to offer its fullest beauty.
Sometimes we forget there is a journey to the life we wish to see come into fruition, but as has been shared more than a few times on this blog, with the proper attention, learning and applying the skill of letting go rather than forcing what we want to happen when we want it, life has an amazing way of surprising us with awesome dreams-coming-true.
Admittedly, there are times, as we reflect upon history, in which the time endured was unjust, but there too, with time and perserverance, progress was witnessed. Whether it is waiting to walk across the graduation stage or waiting for justice to prevail, in small and large ways, life can be amazing.
And along the way, we need to remember to breathe, dance, celebrate the little successes and good moments. Oh, and eat simply, yet deliciously as well. ;) I am very excited about this weekend's new cooking episode of The Simply Luxurious Kitchen. In one of the most detailed episodes, discover how to make French Croissants. Begininning on day one and wrapping up 24-hours later on day
two, when you tune in, you will discover, step-by-step how to make your very own croissants. In fact, my current stock of homemade croissants just ran out last weekend, so this weekend, I will be in the kitchen making this exact recipe. With that said, in this weekend's episode, learn how to store all of the extra croissants you make so that you too can have homemade croissants for many weeks and even months to come without having to lift a finger once the batch is
made.
I want to thank you for subscribing to the weekly newsletter, and I do hope you enjoy this week's edition. Have a wonderful weekend, and until next Friday, I will see you on the blog. Bonne
journée.
