,
I want to first begin by thanking everyone for their well wishes and congratulations sent and shared with me over the past week and a half. I have been honestly humbled and touched by your kindness and generosity of warmth. I feel very fortunate for readers like yourselves as you have created a community here at TSLL of open-minded, kind, generosity-filled and life-loving and savoring individuals. Thank you very, very much.
As much as we may want to plan, we can not predict all of the details that will be a part of the materialization of what we work toward. We cannot predict all of the emotions that will arise and ask, or shall I say - demand, to be experienced. And while if every day offered so much unexpected flair, life may become too exhausting, when we receive it in occasional doses, it makes the step forward we are making or the transition we are traversing through something
to pay attention to and fully appreciate. After all, I wouldn't want to move a house again for another one, two, three, okay, maybe four decades, but the opportunity to move, that I am most appreciative of and did my best to remain present to fully experience.
On that same topic, such a change makes me appreciate the daily routines that I had set in place, and the home I had cultivated prior to moving so much more. We forget how much front-end loading is required to cultivate an everyday life we love living. When it becomes disrupted for whatever reason, for me, it can become discombobulating, and I become even more motivated to return to the everyday life I love. So that is what I am focused on establishing in my new
sanctuary - the everyday routines, the comfortable home that love to return to each night and wake up in each morning.
In today's newsletter you will find TSLL's annual Fall Shopping Guide, the first new episode of The Simple Sophisticate podcast's sixth season and much more. Also, don't forget to stop by the blog tomorrow as The Simply Luxurious Kitchen's second season will premiere. We'll travel to Louviers, France, as well as the Oregon Coast for the first episode's inspiration.
Thank you for subscribing to the weekly newsletter, and until next Friday, I will see you on the blog. Bonne journée.
