Dreams can come true. I have held the quote I shared in the introduction of TSLL's second book close to my heart and journey for years, and it continues to reveal itself to be true. Extraordinary things indeed do happen in the most ordinary of moments.
Yesterday and today, such an extraordinary moment occurred, but no one beyond me, knew how extrardordinary it was. And that was exactly as I preferred it. In the coming days and weeks I will be sharing more about this personal milestone, but what I hope to reassure, as I step forward into a new chapter in my life, is that with clarity, patience and confidence in oneself, as well as an openness for
learning and evolving, dreams do come true, and often more easily than we had imagined; however, not without the support of some very special other individuals along the way.
The summer is winding down, but it is by no means done, so I am looking forward to a leisurely weekend. But if you are like me, you are looking ahead to fall (or spring 🙂) and doing a few things to ensure it kicks off well. This week's Why Not . . . ? post is perfect for planning ahead to ensure a great new season.
I am keeping this letter from the editor shorter than normal this week, but rest assured, I will be back to my full strength as the we gear up again in the coming weeks.
This coming week, the final full week in August, the podcast is taking a week off and will kick off the new season the first Monday of September. Also, on the first Saturday of September, look for the premiere of The Simply Luxurious Kitchen's second season to premiere. And to offer you a taste of the show (pun intended 😉), I popped into Portland this week to cook a French
Omelette with the host of Afternoon Live to enjoy for a delicious lunch. The link to the full segment is below.
Wishing you a wonderful weekend, and be sure to follow along on IG as a few hints of what was alluded to above will be shared this weekend and next week as well.
Until next Friday, I will see you on the blog. Bonne journée!
