And so it is August. Wow! July has wrapped up for yet another year, and the latter half of the summer begins to unfold.
It seems to be the time of year in which the opportunity is provided to assess, to reflect, to ponder what is working as we may be slowing our days down temporarily whether due to vacation or simply working shorter hours as the office we work in adjusts for the summer months and many employees taking their annual getaways.
I enjoy this time of year as often if any vacations were planned, I have returned and am looking at the final month of holiday before school resumes. The slower schedule occurs with a bit of distance from what was happening that may have needed to be adjusted, so I can see it more clearly, and the determination to improve can be supported as I have more energy, and a more objective mind to make the best decisions moving forward.
But . . . there is still the month of August to enjoy, and that means TSLL's French Week, that means more time to read, more time to explore and more time to complete tasks that ask for more time than what a busy schedule allows. I don't know about you, but August is going to be full in the best possible way - doing what is enjoyable and conducive to creating an even more wonderful fall and winter.
In this week's newsletter you'll find a post that shares a life lesson that I discovered quite unexpectedly while walking one morning with my dogs, as well as the regular monthly post of 16 Things That Made Me Smile This Month, a chic, simple Outfit of the Week for summer wandering and a full This & That of clothing, vintage decor, two films that will catch you laughing and delighting in, and much
more.
Thank you for subscribing to TSLL's weekly newsletter, and until next Friday, I will see you on the blog.
