Happy Holidays! The snow is beginning to fall here in Bend, and with the first day of December arriving tomorrow, I do believe I am ready to savor each day of this last month of 2018 in simply luxurious festive revelry. How about you?
I wanted to take a moment to thank readers who sent congratulations and celebration emails and comments over this past week as I had the opportunity to have two book signings (check out
TSLL's Instagram for more pics as well as TSLL's IG Highlights - 2nd Book) at two of my favorite independent bookshops - one
here in Bend and one in my hometown in
Wallowa
County. It was a most memorable week and weekend with readers, long-time and new, family as well as old friends, and the support was truly felt. Thank you tremendously.
Some readers have asked if I will be scheduling more book signings, and while at the moment, I am staying close to home for the remainder of the year, I am always open to suggestions and opportunities to meet, share and perhaps enjoy a cup of tea together (something that was especially enjoyed at Saturday’s book signing). For the rest of 2018, I will be staying in Oregon, finishing the year engaging with readers via social media (please do share your pics of the book and your simply
luxurious life as there will be a post shared at the end of December to showcase them all!) as well as in comments and via email, and enjoying the regular schedule of blogging, as well as preparing for a new and awesome 2019 on TSLL and the podcast (and in September - the vodcast!).
In this week's newsletter, the holidays kicked off on TSLL with a lengthy list of shopping destinations and promo codes for Cyber Monday, ideas for a successful dinner party any time of the year, an outfit full of restful ideas as we prepare for the busy schedule ahead, TSLL's Holiday Playlist (jazz filled, lyrical and non with a few new pop hits and old favorites) and being posted this Sunday (just a head's up) will be the annual TSLL Holiday Gift Guide.
Thank you for subscribing to TSLL's weekly newsletter, and may the start of December welcome an auspicious conclusion to 2018. Until next week, I'll see you on the blog!
