Summer officially began in the states on Monday with a beautiful strawberry moon and a luxuriously long day of sunshine. As you will see with this week's postings, it was a week I reveled being back in my TSLL office all day from morning to late afternoon and sometimes into the evening.

With a Style Inspiration post spotlighting a unique and beautiful bag for summer (at a great price too - less than $100), a Decor Inspiration post touring a Cotswolds cottage I could easily live in for the rest of my life, a new recipe to me that will melt in your mouth and so much more, to be entirely immersed with all things simply luxurious feels like a dream of a job. And while I am unable to focus only on my business 12 months of the year, I do have these brilliant 10 weeks, and I do so appreciate them.

Perhaps you have something in your life that you enjoy doing and wished desperately that you could have more time to focus only on that. Maybe a business, maybe a different career pursuit, maybe a hobby, maybe a new skill. Whatever it is, first be thankful that you have found something that you love so deeply. That in and of itself is not something everyone finds or discovers. (However, I will note, we all have the opportunity to discover such a love, as it resides within each of us waiting to be found. Our job, each of our jobs, is to be courageous enough to seek it out not matter how long it takes.)

Once we have found such a love, even just spending time when we can makes a difference. We may only be able to spend a little time for a very long time, but if we're serious, if we find the willpower for making time for it, it will gradually grow and develop. It will gradually become something and/or our skills will become more fine-tuned that we will begin to open doors for ourselves that were initially made unavailable to  us.

I am currently reading a book recommended by a friend, and while I will dive deeper into the topic in coming weeks on the podcast, the habit that will change our lives for the better is willpower. And so when it comes to our loves, our passions, we can strengthen our technique, our abilities, our business, our knowledge, by practicing willpower to include it in our lives even if it would easier to not. Even if it would be easier to follow the crowd, to tire of explanation of our path and just let go. When we strengthen our willpower, our lives become easier, our paths become clearer and we come closer to our dreams being a reality.

Do stay tuned, as I cannot wait to share more about the power of this extremely significant ability each one of us possesses.

In this week' newsletter, as I mentioned at the top, carve out some time because you have some fantastic choices to enjoy. Perhaps you have heard about Hamilton, the 11-time Tony award winning musical. Well, it was its creator and starring actor that inspired this week's podcast episode. Yet another source of inspiration that has been at the top of headlines is the Brexit vote which took place yesterday in Britain. While the results are known, you can learn more about it here and as well simply enjoy a lovely tour of a cottage in the Cotswolds to give yourself a reason to breath deeply, if only for a moment.  From summer resolutions to summer recipes, I do hope you enjoy this week's newsletter.  Until next week, I'll see you on the blog.
