When July arrives, I officially begin to feel as though summer is here. The Fourth of July celebrations have commenced and swiftly wrapped up and the weather is fairly consistent - warm, sometimes very, very warm.

Upon arriving home from a long weekend away, I experienced the most sought for, but not exactly found feeling until now. I briefly mentioned it on my IG on Tuesday, but it is the experience of even after a delightful holiday or venture away to a lovely destination, upon returning home being filled with even more glee and ecstasy.

Perhaps I am being a bit dramatic, but truly, the everyday routines I have set in place are something I look forward to each day when I wake up: the job of blogging, writing, exploring and conversing with you the readers of TSLL is something I feel most fortunate to be able to do on a daily basis and the place I call home truly is a dream come true in all the hoped for ways.

And it is the curating of an everyday life that we love that is my  passion. Because if we make our everydays more pleasant, productive and rewarding, our lives overall become a most amazing way to live in this world. No, it doesn't mean that everything will always go well and we will never have worries, struggles or doubts, but what it will mean is that we are thinking clearly because we are less stressed and well-rested to make the best decisions, approach the conundrums with a clear and thoughtful mind and thereby create a life that isn't filled with unnecessary strife. So much of being able to do just this comes down to willpower which is the topic of discussion in this week's episode of the podcast.

And speaking of everydays - relationships and especially romance play a significant role. We all know the connections we make with others, especially our romantic partner, can be amazing, but what if we are allowing the pursuit of love to ruin our everydays? I discuss this very topic in Wednesday's Why Not . . . ?.

On a very basic level, living well is about having a plan, having a vision and pursuing it little by little each day. Something that is mentioned in the podcast this week is the benefit of To-Do lists, and guess what? Yep, TSLL now has full-color, Inslee illustration notepads for your To-Do list as well as your shopping list available now in TSLL Shop (and there is an exclusive discount available to you, TSLL newsletter subscribers available through Monday 7/11 - learn more here). Shop all of the options here.

I don't know about you, but am actually looking forward to just a simple weekend. The weather is supposed to include a few rain showers and for that I am eager to enjoy. Ideal for watching the Wimbledon championships I think, no? Very apropos.

I hope you have a wonderful weekend, wherever your plans take you. Thank you as always for subscribing to TSLL newsletter and until next week, I'll see you on the blog.
