,
Spring has arrived and indeed it does feel as though a shift has occurred. Perhaps when we look for something we can find, or pretend to find it anywhere, but lately I have been realizing that perhaps that isn't quite true. If the past handful of years have taught me anything, it is that so long as we are striving forward, remaining in tune with our inner calling,
events unfold as they should. We may not understand it at the time, but eventually we do. The key, is to continually be putting yourself out there. Engaging with life and offering opportunity the chance to present itself.
Now sometimes the opportunity can be a roadblock, a frustrating roadblock that even the most tenacious of us cannot overcome. But even in these instances, as time passes, I have found that these said "roadblocks" have happened for a reason. As though life was taking the wheel for a moment and saying, "No, trust me. I have a better route for you to travel. It won't make sense now, but it will eventually. *through gritted teeth* - Go with
it."
And the brilliance later appreciated is that when future events occur, we are even more certain of what we want and what we don't want. It is as if it is a fine-tuning of our decision making process.
If there is any gift I can give or wish to have possessed earlier in life it would be this superpower: the ability to make the best decision for myself in a moment's notice without wasting any unnecessary time where it need not be spent.
And trust me, you can reach this point. You too can possess this superpower. It's not elusive. It will arrive once you have continued to slog through the uncomfortable moments, stood up against what didn't feel right, taken the time to get to know yourself and faced your question marks. It's a journey, without question, but the bucket of gold coins on the other side, while not often seen or known about, is absolutely worth it. Trust
me.
But back to spring. The closure of winter that occurs when spring begins is much like ending a book. It is a fresh start. But in order to have a fresh start, we must shut the door, finish the book and move
forward. Period. Because if spring is any indication, that book that was winter is worth closing. It no doubt taught some invaluable lessons, but now you need to go forward, apply them and be the better you that you are.
Now to today's newsletter. Three pieces of news I want to bring to your attention: (1) TSLL is going to be bringing exclusive TSLL Inslee illustrated notepads to your lifestyle if you are a list-person like myself. However, I want to offer what you prefer.
