As a long weekend arrives here in
the states, the weather is beginning to shift along with everyday schedules, and I couldn't help but take a look at my Back-to-School/Work Checklist taking note of what I still needed to complete before stepping back through the school doors on Tuesday.
As someone who is a fan of making lists, and then luxuriating in the moment each item is crossed off, knowing that I am as prepared as I can be for the upcoming fall season allows me to sleep a little sounder each night and wake up with even more excitement for what the day
might bring.
And in terms of schedules shifting and growing this fall season, the blog is full of exciting news. As a privilege for being a newsletter subscriber, let me share with you a few

In this week's newsletter, the end of a beautiful summer is celebrated in this week's Why Not . . . ? post where I share my experience of enjoying dinner at my first Farm-to-Table event. Even if you aren't someone who would like to partake in such an event, the lessons I learned while sitting down for the delicious food and wine pairings may be something you'll want to have a look at.
But without question, readers' favorite post of this past week was Monday's Inspirational post "Remember to Embrace Your Unique Journey".
It's a funny and miraculous thing
about life. While we aren't guaranteed a bountiful harvest if we do the hard work and extra hours, we are certain to never experience what we desire if we do nothing. I hope the summer months have allowed you time to become rested and restored so that you can go forward with energy as you strive closer to the harvest you have in mind as your end goal.
But, as Monday's post reminds, be sure to thoroughly savor the journey that you travel for if you do, often the destination is all the sweeter upon arrival.
