Friday May 30, 2014                                                                                                  Issue #200

Honing our intuition and taking the time to quiet ourselves from time to time can offer powerful benefits when we run up against a fork in the road at which we must make a decision.

The options available could be endless, but the simplest way to know what the right decision is, is to become an expert translator of our intuition and to become clear about what lights us up and constrastly, what drains us.

As a subscriber to TSLL weekly newsletter, I want to share news exclusively here every Friday should there be any before I post on the blog or share elsewhere. And so today, I have some exciting news.

The Simply Luxurious Life house is for sale.

Yep, after eight years of remodeling, landscaping and restoring to its former 1930 Normandy style glory, my 4 bedroom, 2 bath is searching for its new special owner.  Now the "For Sale" sign will be going out front soon with my realtor's contact information, but if you want to express interest or have purchase questions, email me and I will make sure to find out what you need to know to be one of the first to make an offer. Below I've gathered together links from past posts that have offered a tour of the house. And next week, the master bath will be showcased on the blog. A glimpse of what you will see . . .

You may be wondering where I'll be moving, so let me explain. After careful scouting and visiting of Portland, end and Walla Walla, Washington, over the past few years, I am so excited to move just across the state line to the wine country of Walla Walla. I will continue to teach at my current job, as I absolutely adore my teaching position and the students I have the fortunate opportunity to teach, but I must say, I am greatly anticipating renovating and sharing the process of turning my next house into a simply luxurious abode. My mind is already racing with ideas, as I have feeling you can imagine.

It's funny how such significant life decisions are made, with what seems like the blink of an eye, is actually a result of years of contemplating, weighing my priorities and carefully examining the path I want my life to take. However, when that moment arrives in which you make the decision, that is when all of the effort to hone our intuition and feel secure in ourselves comes in handy. Because it is in that moment that I was able to make the decision without hesitation.

Who knows how quickly it will all occur, but if you or someone you know is looking for a move-in-ready house (tailored landscaping and automatic sprinklers, a new heating system and endless charm), I have a house you might be interested in.

And with that, I will let you catch up on this past week on the blog. Full of preparations for summer, the blog offered a recommending summer reading list as well as inspiration for summer style. With June just a day away, the longest days of the year are here to be enjoyed and I for one am ready for it all to begin.

Have an exquisite weekend, and until next week, I'll see you on the blog.
