s I grow older, I look forward to holidays more for the moments I will be fortunate enough to share with those I love, rather than the gifts that might be sitting under the tree or placed in my stocking.
The lovely thing about savoring the holidays for the moments rather than the gifts is that you have more than a month of opportunities to look forward to instead of that one lone day.
I don't know about you, but it is the traipsing about looking for a Christmas tree (fingers crossed that it snows on that particular day), putting up the lights, wandering around in the shops while the old and new holiday tunes serenade you and the many lovely meals with excuses to dress up that I love the most.
As I mentioned last week, the holidays are ours for the making. Why not this season, cast more attention on the moments, memories and blessings that exist right now in our lives and savor them, spoil them and tell them we love them?
For I have a feeling that when you do this, you will be filled with the most amazing emotions that could never be bought by a gift or a gift card. After all, it is by sharing time and telling those we love how much we appreciate them that we cultivate a luxurious life that is quite simple to achieve with conscious effort.
This week's newsletter is full of ideas to create a sound foundation for your life in the areas of relationships, time management and luxuriously simple holiday decor. As I've said many times before, with conscious effort, a life of luxurious simplicity can be each of ours, and the beauty is that each of our lives will reflect who we are and thus be quite unique and original.
I can't thank my readers and subscribers of this newsletter enough for choosing to sit down at some point during your week or weekend and catch up with The Simply Luxurious Life. Your comments, your emails and your best wishes simply because mean the world, and I am very grateful. It is my wish for you that the holidays are full of bliss, beautiful memories and time to revel in all that is to offer. Until next week, I'll see you on the blog.
-Shannon
