It often can be hard to fathom that only just six months ago, the warmth from the sun enabled us to solely use screen doors, sit out on the porch to enjoy breakfast and dinner and fresh flowers were all abloom throughout the garden along with scrumptious fresh fruit and veg in the garden and markets.

Each June or thereabouts I remind myself to savor the ideal weather and beauty of the late spring and early summer weather because while it won't last, while it is upon us, it is quite special. 

This inevitable seasonal change that we navigate each year has similarities to nurturing into being the change we wish to see in our own lives. The primary difference is, we must make a choice to change today and continue to make the necessary changes, cultivating new habits and putting them into place with regular practice in order to see the change we wish in materialize in the now defined future. What is inevitable throughout own lives is that change will happen, the question is, what change do you want to see?

This past Monday's Motivational post spoke specifically to the simple conscious choice that if we make it everyday will bring the fulfillment (and change) we desire. Objectively, we know this reality of cause and effect to be true, but we often forget that we are the energy that will prompt the change to occur. 

As we near the end of 2023, what change, area of self-growth, do you wish was part of your life today? What would bring you peace of mind? Perhaps consider taking the first steps of putting into practice the habits and changes that in time will reap the change, permanent change, you seek, and by the time 2024 arrives, you will have created the 'tracks' so to speak that will make it easier to remain upon as you continue along the journey of your chosen change.
